 Question = एक shunt resistance लगा ammeter 500 mA पर पूरे scale की reading देता हैं । यदि shunt का resistance 0.1021 Ω  हो  और meter पर voltage 50 millivolt हैं तो meter का resistance मालूम करें ? 

Solution =  is given , 

» VL = 50 mA , या 50 ÷ 1000 = 0.05 v , R = 0.1021 Ω , I = 500 mA , या 500 ÷ 1000 = 0.5 A , 

» shunt resistance का  current = V ÷ R , = 0.05 ÷ 0.1021 , = 0.489 ampere 

» तो extra current = 0.5 - 0.489 = 0.01 ampere , 

» So , shunt resistance होगा = V ÷ I , = 0.05 ÷ 0.01 ,= 5 Ω , answer ✓
