Question = एक तारों सहित DC ammetar का total resistance 1.5 Ω हैं । Meter 50 milli ampere पर full scale पढ़ता है । आवश्यक shunt resistance मालूम करें , जिससे meter की पूरी scale 25 , 5 , और 2.5 Ampere के लिए बन जाय ?
Solution = R = 1.5 Ω , I = 50 mA या 50÷ 1000 = 0.05 ampere ,
» 1st 25 ampere के लिए ,
» extra current = 25 - 0.05 = 24.95 ampere ,
» V = I×R , = 1.5 × 0.05 = 0.075 volt ,
» तो shunt resistance = V÷I = 0.075 ÷ 24.95 =0.003006 Ω , answer ✓
इसके अलावा , wattage = V×I = 0.075 × 24.95 = 1.87 watt, होगा ।
» 2nd 5 ampere के लिए ,
» R = 1.5 Ω , I = 0.05 amp..
» extra current = 5 - 0.05 = 4.95 ampere
» V = I×R , = 1.5 × 0.05 = 0.075 volt ,
» तो shunt resistance = V÷I = 0.075 ÷ 4.95 = 0.01515 Ω , answer ✓
इसके अलावा , wattage = V×I = 0.075 × 4.95 = 0.371 watt ,
» 3rd 2.5 ampere के लिए ,
» R = 1.5 Ω , I = 0.05 amp..
» extra current = 2.5 - 0.05 = 2.45 ampere ,
» V = I×R , = 1.5 × 0.05 = 0.075 volt ,
» » तो shunt resistance = V÷I = 0.075 ÷ 2.45 = 0.03061 Ω , answer ✓
