AC three phase Motor calculation part 9

 Question =  एक motor 4000 volt , 3 phase, 50 c/s AC Supply पर लगी हुई हैं । Motor 0.8 Cos Ø  पर 25 ampere current ले रही हैं । Motor की input Kw तथा hp में मालूम करें ? 

Solution = is given , 


VL = 4000 v , Cos Ø = 0.8 , I = 25 A , Input = ? 

» input = √3 × VL × IL × cos Ø watt ,  

» input = 1.732 × 4000 × 25 × 0.8 , = 138560 watt , या 138560 ÷ 1000 = 138.56 KW , answer ✓ 

» for HP =  Watt ÷ 746 , = 138560 ÷ 746 , = 185.73 HP, answer ✓
