 Question = एक 3 phase , induction motor में 8 pole हैं । यदि full load slip 2.5% हो तो मालूम करें (1) synchronous Speed (NS) ,  (2) rotor speed (N) ? 

Solution =is given , 

»  F = 50 c/s ,  P = 8 , S = 2.5 % , NS = ? , N = ? 

» formula = NS = 120 × f/P ,  » 120 ×50 /8 , 

» 6000/8 = 750 rpm , answer ✓ 

» formula = N = NS (1 - S )  , 

» N = 750 ( 1- 2.5/100 ) = 731.25 rpm , answer ✓
