Question = एक 200 volt Shunt motor का armature resistance (Ra) 1.2 Ω है और supply से 10 ampere का current ले रही हैं। यदि field current 1.2 ampere हो तो machine का back emf मालूम करें ?
Solution = is given,
VL = 200 volt , IL = 10 ampere, Ish = 1.2 ampere , Ra = 1.2 Ω ,
Back emf formula = Eb = VL - Ia × Ra ,
» Ia = IL + Ish » 10+1.2 = 11.2 ampere ,
» ( IL = Ia - Ish , » 11.2 - 1.2 = 10 ampere , is given)
So , back emf (Eb) = 200 - 11.2 × 1.2
» 200 - 13.44 » 186.56 volt , answer ✓
( VL) Induced emf = voltage drop in armature + Eb = ( Ia × Ra ) + Eb = 13.44 + 186.56 = 200 volt ).
