Cell/battery calculation part 7

 Question= 220 v. DC supply पर 60 cell charge करने हैं। Cell 1.8 volt तक discharge किए हुए हैं और charge करने के बाद इनकी voltage 2.4 v प्रति cell दी गई हैं। / cell का internal resistance (r) 0.01Ω हैं और charging resistance (R) 20 Ω का लगाया गया है। (1) starting charging current? (2) final charging current? मालूम करें। 

Solution = (1) starting charging current = no. of Cell = 60 , discharge Voltage= 1.8 v, total Voltage= 60× 1.8 =108 volt , r of one cell =0.01 Ω ,  


So, total r = 60×0.01= 0.6 Ω,  R= 20Ω, 

•Total resistance= 20+0.6 = 20.6 Ω ,. 

• Voltage drop= 220-108=112 v , 

• formula= I= V÷R = 112÷ 20.6 = 5.45 ampere , answer ✓

(voltage high= current high) 

(2) Final charging current = no. of cell = 60, charging voltage= 2.4 v , total Voltage = 60×2.4=144 volt,  total resistance= 20.6 Ω

So, voltage drop= 220-144 = 76 volt, 

 I= 76÷ 20.6= 3.69 ampere, answer ✓ 

(voltage low= current low)
