Question = एक coil जिसका resistance 150Ω हैं तथा inductance (L) 0.5 henery हैं, 230 volt/50 c/s supply पर लगी हुई हैं। Coil का impedence(z) और supply से ली गई power(w) मालूम करें ?

Formula , » Z = √ R² +√ XL² , » XL = 2πfl , » 2× 22/7×50×0.5 , » 157.14 Ω ,
» Z = √150²+√157.14² ,
» Z = √22500+√24692.97 , » Z = √47192.97 , So, Z= 217.239 Ω , answer ✓
Now, power,
Formula » W = V×I×COS Ø , » I=V/Z , » 230÷217.23 , = 1.058 ampere
Cos Ø =R/Z , = 150÷ 217.23 = 0.6
So, W = 230×1.058×0.6 , = 146.004 Watt, answer ✓
